🔄 Return and Cancellation Policy

For Ganges Grain Inc. B2B Wholesale Customers

This policy is an integral part of the Ganges Grain Inc. Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. Order Cancellation Policy

  • Before Order Confirmation: The Buyer may cancel a Purchase Order without penalty before receiving a written Order Confirmation from Ganges Grain Inc.
  • After Order Confirmation (Before Shipment): Once the Seller has issued the written Order Confirmation and the 30% advance payment has been received, the order is binding. Any cancellation request made after this point will result in the forfeiture of the 30% advance payment.
  • After Shipment: An order cannot be cancelled once it has been shipped. The Buyer will remain responsible for the full 70% balance due after shipment, as stipulated in the Terms & Conditions.

2. Return Policy for Non-Defective Goods (Final Sale)

All sales of correctly fulfilled wholesale Goods are FINAL SALE.

  • Ganges Grain Inc. does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for Goods that were correctly ordered and delivered, including, but not limited to, reasons such as:
    • Buyer’s remorse or overstocking.
    • Goods performing as warranted.
    • Color or slight appearance variations inherent to leather products (Exactness Not Guaranteed).

3. Returns and Claims for Damaged or Defective Goods

Returns are accepted only in the case of Goods that are visibly damaged upon arrival or contain a manufacturing defect covered under our Limited Warranty.

A. Claims for Visible Damage or Discrepancies (Shortages/Wrong Items)

  • Reporting Window: The Buyer must report any visible shipping damage, shortages, or discrepancies in the shipment within three (3) business days of receiving the Goods.
  • Procedure:
    1. The Buyer must provide immediate written notice to Ganges Grain Inc., including the Order Confirmation number and a detailed description.
    2. Clear photographic evidence of the damaged packaging and/or Goods is required.
    3. If damage is noted, Ganges Grain Inc. will determine if the claim falls under our responsibility (e.g., if FOB Incoterm was used) or the Buyer’s carrier responsibility (e.g., if EXW Incoterm was used), and will advise on the next steps for resolution.

B. Claims for Manufacturing Defects (Under Warranty)

  • Warranty Period: Goods are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of six (6) months from the date of shipment.
  • Reporting Window: Claims for manufacturing defects must be reported in writing within the 6-month warranty period and within three (3) business days of the defect being discovered.
  • Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from: normal wear and tear, misuse, improper storage, unauthorized repair, or alteration.
  • Remedy: Upon confirmation of a manufacturing defect, Ganges Grain Inc.’s sole obligation is limited, at its discretion, to one of the following:
    • Repair of the defective Goods.
    • Replacement of the defective Goods.
    • Issuance of a credit note for the purchase price of the defective Goods.

4. Return Shipping of Defective Goods

  • Authorization: All returns (for confirmed defects or damage) must be pre-authorized in writing by Ganges Grain Inc. prior to shipping.
  • Cost: The Buyer is initially responsible for all shipping costs related to returning defective Goods. If the defect is confirmed to be a manufacturing fault covered under warranty, Ganges Grain Inc. will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid shipping label for the replacement/repaired item shipment.
